Stephen Morrison Endowed Arts and Sciences Scholarship

The Stephen G. Morrison Scholarship will be awarded to a deserving Arts and Sciences undergraduate with demonstrated financial need and who graduated from a public high school in South Carolina in the following counties and school districts – Abbeville, Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Berkley, Chesterfield, Clarendon, Dillon (district 3 and 4), Florence, Hampton, Jasper, Laurens, Lee, Lexington (district 4), Marion, Marlboro, McCormick, Orangeburg,(district 3 and 5), Saluda, and Williamsburg.. It is the intent that this scholarship be awarded to the same student(s) through undergraduate degree completion, including summer terms, providing that the student meets the University’s requirements for satisfactory annual progress and in accord with other financial aid or merit-based scholarships awarded to the student(s), and that the student(s) continues within an Arts & Sciences degree program. Thus, the amount of the scholarship awarded annually may vary in accord with other financial assistance, including merit-based aid, available to the student.
