AgFirst Diversity Endowed Scholarship Fund

Scholarship(s) will be awarded by DMSB Scholarship Committee to incoming freshmen with a minimum high school GPA of 3.4, who are determined to be from underrepresented student populations, and who demonstrate financial need. Preference is for students who are residents of SC. The Committee will forward a list of scholarship applicants who have been admitted to the incoming freshmen class with a minimum high school GPA of 3.4 and who are determined to be underrepresented to the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships. The latter will return the list to the committee with those students who meet the federal standards of financial need so designated. It is the intent of the Donor that the student(s) receive the scholarship(s) in their freshman year and continue to receive the scholarship(s) in their sophomore, junior, and senior years as they remain a DMSB student with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Recipients will have the opportunity to interview for paid internship(s) with AgFirst Farm Credit Bank for employment in their Junior and Senior years. The annual duration of the internship will be 10 weeks, 20 hours per week. Interns may exceed the 10 weeks, but may not exceed 1,000 hours per year. Beginning and end dates are flexible. Assignments will be based on the needs of AgFirst Farm Credit Bank.
