The Morrisette Family Endowment Fund
The purpose of this Fund is to provide support for study abroad experiences, of any kind, for Darla Moore School of Business students, with preference to (1) a student from the Triad Area of Greensboro, High Point or Winston-Salem, North Carolina, or (2) preference to a student from North Carolina. If no student meets the preferred criteria the funds may be awarded to a student eligible to participate in a Darla Moore School of Business study abroad.
The funds shall be awarded to Moore School students by faculty/staff of the Office of International Activities coordinated by the Director, Business Study Abroad Program in consultation with the Senior Associate Dean of International Programs and Partnerships or the Dean’s designee.
The Donors have agreed to contribute a total of one hundred thousand ($100,000) dollars to provide study abroad experiences for Darla Moore School of Business students. Of the $100,000, an amount equal to $92,500 will be used to establish a permanently endowed fund in the Foundation to be known as The Morrisette Family Endowment Fund (“Fund”). The remaining $7,500 will be used as spendable to award $2,500 in the spring of 2018, $2,500 in the spring of 2019 and $2,500 in the spring of 2020."
