Jim McAllister Scholarship

Awarded to a sophomore, junior, senior in the School of Journalism and Mass Communications. The Jim McAllister Scholarship was established by friends of Mr. McAllister to recognize his outstanding contributions to the newspaper field and to assist journalism students from Greenville County (South Carolina). Mr. McAllister was a popular columnist for twelve years with the Greenville News. He died in 1984.
