William Francis Marion, Sr. Scholarship Endowment Fund
The W. Francis Marion Scholarship was created in November 1998 by Elizabeth Marshall Marion, wife of the late William Francis Marion, Sr. Mr. Marion was a managing partner of the Haynsworth & Haynsworth law firm in Greenville, South Carolina from 1969 until 1985, and he remained active until his death in 1995. The Scholarship is awarded to a student who demonstrates strong academic potential, integrity and ethics, a breadth of knowledge in the liberal arts, and an interest in trial practice.
