Justice G. Dewey Oxner Law Scholarship

The Justice G. Dewey Oxner Scholarship was created November 1999 by his son, Attorney G. Dewey Oxner, Jr., to honor of his father, the late South Carolina Supreme Court Justice G. Dewey Oxner. Justice Oxner, a 1920 graduate of the School of Law, served on the Supreme Court of SC from January 1944 until his death in January 1962. The Scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence.
