Brailsford-Rosen Scholarship in Law
The Brailsford-Rosen Scholarship was created in 1984 by the Orangeburg County Bar Association, represented by Robert R. Horger, Esq. Louis Rosen received his law degree in 1934. He practiced law for a number of years, then in 1962 was elected to the Circuit Court, where he served until his retirement in 1979. He died in 1989. James Brailsford, Jr. received his law degree in 1964 and retired in 1974 as an Associate Justice of the SC Supreme Court. He died in 1993.
